    hmm uno-uno

Post by Al THLDI on Thu Jan 12, 2012 2:52 am

Setting: Present Day plus 60 years

There was a scientist who was known for his weird experimentations. He would like to play with the elements, test nature, even test God along with all the laws that one could imagine. Mankind dreamed of being able to travel through time, from present to future or to past. See the unknown, rediscover what was lost. It was a fantasy that one would see in movies, read in novels, or just daydream on about in the middle of a boring class or while lamenting a sad moment. Thinking of moments of what if’s and what could have… But all this seemed to be impossible. Just as impossible as back in the days where before Neil Armstrong took that the first step on the moon. They say that whatever man could think of in their mind, was pretty much quite possible or already quite existent. How would we know this for sure? Beat’s me, but facts are facts. Traveling through space, quick silencer guns, the semi round shaped planet earth, liquid formed bombs…. Getting my drift?
This scientist knew far too well that you could push all limits. You just would have to find out how would be the best form in order to get the right results needed. His lab was a gruesome one. One section pure machinery, the other filled with chemicals…The worst section… was the one where his experimentation victims were kept. From Mammals to rodents, reptiles to amphibians, you name it. He had all categories. He was so inhumane that in the basement, he had humans undergoing through tests. He would lure young men and women with an appealing add. Party till you drop, free unlimited booze for all. That sure brought him the people he wanted. The people who would go…where those who were already set for perdition.
He may be an insane person, but he too was a genius. He brought me from the past, and I’ve been held captive here since. It may have been months that I’ve been locked up in this place, I have no clue. I don’t know anything of the outside world in this year. I come from the 1940’s.

So umm I think we are going to work this differenty.

Ooc-I will not set you any determined role, you have an idea what I was brainstorming, so there're some options. I have no clue what the scientist character will do yet :p make another experiment, send to individuals to 2012 or bring someone else from the past, or some future scientist sends someone to that time. You Play with it Very Happy In other words, you are the other experiment. Sorda.Makes sense?

Name: Faith [Her and her sister had named themselves, her sister was Hope and she was Faith]
Age:Due to the marks on the wall she assumes she's at least 17... Or eighteen?
    Gender: Female
Mutation: She has a chip inside her arm that allows her to transport short distances through shadows. She has beautiful black wings that stretch 18 ft across. She can push emotions, and fake memories into people's minds as well. She has extremely good hearing and eyesight.
Weaknesses: All the injections have really warped her reality. She can become delusional and extremely antisocial and will resort to a child-like state after night terrors. She claws at her own arms to get the chip out. Using her powers makes her tired and feel dizzy, if she is over using her powers she will pass out.
Description: Long black hair, falls in her face and bright green eyes. She has very pale skin, she stands about 5'5'' and weighs only around 90-100 pounds due to her bones being smaller like a birds. She has worn down nails due to the constant scratching against walls and bruised up knuckles and many different holes in her arms from all the needles. She is malnourished and extremely dainty. She has somewhat of a british accent due to living in London for 14 or so years. She doesn't speak often, her voice is raspy and she sounds tired a lot of the times.

Personality:She is extremely violent, disturbed and hard headed. She doesn't like getting close to people. She is a tough cookie, but there's only a certain time till the cookie crumbles. She is wise, an observer and extremely protective of those she loves. She is a daydreamer -- it was the only thing that got her through each day.
Fears: After watching her sister die on the operation table, she became afraid of death, and getting close to anyone else touching her. She's always extremely tense and she fears needles, ray guns, and people who wear lab coats. She also fears loud noises, bright lights and developed Agoraphobia [Fear of open spaces].

Like most of the mutants, she is curious about the Outside, for she had only seen it in pictures in the White Coat's office, and she is extremely jumpy about anything. She has fallen in love with animals of all sorts because they are loving and expect nothing but love in return, she especially has taken a liking to birds because they can fly like she can. She gets sad if she sees a little girl that reminds her of Hope and will shut down -- for she was taught not to cry. Since her speech isn't quite all there, and has only picked up what she heard from the White Coats, she can become frustrated when people don't understand what she means and eventually will frequently use the phrase, "Forget it..." . She loves art though, any kind, photography, water colors and drawings. She fails to understand though that she cannot just sit in trees in the park, and is saddened when the local Policeman tell her to come down -- she doesn't like to be yelled at. She can be extremely child like, but the Lab also taught her to grow up fast and take the hit when it comes swinging at you. In the Lab she had no where to run so she would just crawl in a corner and hope no one would find her if she was hurt, but now she's Outside there's more of a chance she will run off.

She does have a darker side that only comes out when someone threatens her loved ones, she will suddenly become furious and step up. It's almost as if a different side of her that has been hidden forever surfaces, she has a sharp tongue, and a nasty bite. Her rage melts her fears and she can become extremely dangerous, this is the side affects of the mutations and chemicals put into her body. She will fight whoever is threatening and wont stop, even if she is extremely hurt.

    Equipment
She finds the things in the Outside world to be fascinating, especially food items and she is a collector. Whatever she likes she will put in her backpack.

    History
She was in a lab in London with her sister for a long time, known as Number 13[Faith] and Number 14[Hope], they were twins, born together and lived together in the same 11 by 11 cell for at least 14 years, then at age 14 she was transferred with her sister to another and was brought into a dark room. She watched her twin sister die on the operation table when they tried to enhance her agility and inject different fluids into her. She was extremely angered by this and tried to fight the guards as they held her back and she watched her sister cough up blood and slowly die as the doctor just let her suffer. Faith -- once a beautiful, young spirit -- now became full of anger and became severely depressed. She now becomes extremely protective of those who are lucky enough to become friends with her.

Faith stared at the walls of her cell and counted the scratches.

"Happy birthday... To... Me... Happy birthday to me..." Her voice is haunting, hollow, scary as she sang in a slow, raspy tone. She scratched another mark in, marking her 18th year of being here. She hears the rattling of the cage in the cell next to her and she grimaces as she hides in the corner of her cell, hair falling in her face.

She hears a laugh from the scientist and the whir of the time machine, "Yes. Yes. YES!" He howls a cackle of a laugh makes Faith wince.

Faith stares at the blood dried on her nubby fingernails and stares at the scratches on her arm, following the scratches with her fingertips.

"Chip..." She knew it was in her arm, she knew it, but she didn't know how to get it out... The White Coat Man had put chips in his experiments so if they did manage to escape he could easily locate them. This chip also allowed her to move short distances through dark places. She wanted it out.

She hears the door of her cell swing open and she instantly tenses up as the White Coat Man comes towards her.

"Experiment 13, come here, my little love."

Faith stays in her corner, standing up, "No touch." She glares at him.

"Don't be so stubborn, Number 13." He growls and grabs her wrist, but her blades in her wrists shoot out.

"No touch." She repeats, her hair falling her eyes as he stumbles back a bit, blinking.

"Fine, you wan to play that way? Let's dance." He growls at her, his six foot figure towers over her.

I sat in my cage, looking at my surroundings. The scientist was pacing up and down his big machine. He was rambling around about some formula. He checked his watch over and over again, as if he was expecting something to come through hi big machine. If I wasn't mistaken it was the very same one I came from. Was is it another person he was expecting from the past or would it be from the future?

I sighed. I left so much behind... There was nothing I could do. I was just another lab rat here to him. He was heartless. I thought I knew what heartless was, but he kicks it up a thousand notches and beyond.
